grading & INFO
All used records are vigorously graded to our high standards. The buyer should be aware that our used records have been previously enjoyed and are not sealed unless it is stated in the listing! All vinyl ordered may have minor imperfections to the sleeve or cover. The condition of the vinyl itself will be graded either Near Mint (NM), Very Good + (VG+), Very Good (VG), Good (G) or Fair (F).

All sales are final.

Brand new sealed
Brand new record. Never been played as it is still sealed.

Near Mint (NM or M-)
A nearly perfect record. A NM record has more than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. We won't give a grade higher than this implying that no record is ever truly perfect. The record should show no obvious signs of wear.

Very Good Plus (VG+)
A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences.

Very Good (VG)
Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise may be evident upon playing certain songs, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

Good (G)
A record in Good condition can be played through and may skip but unlikely. But it will have surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. While the record will be playable, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.

Fair (F)
The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating.
*We only grade the vinyl media condition, not the sleeve. Expect general minor shelf wear and tear on all used records. I would say most of the album covers in our used listings are VG+ to NM. All are intact and legible and in generally good condition as these were in my private collection and taken care of for many years.

*Prices on checkout include shipping for anywhere in North America. If shipping overseas exceeds the shipping price we will contact you for extra payment to ensure your order can be delivered anywhere in the world. If additional shipping to your country is declined we will fully refund your order no questions asked.

Keep in mind due to tariffs and recent changes shipping from Canada to USA now requires Atreides Records to fill out detailed customs forms and follow new protocols to ship these into the United States. Fortunately the Feathergun records were manufactured in USA and all music is considered educational media so there are no duty fees. However, after recently shipping a few items to the United States from Canada I can confirm this is a very inconvenient and rigorous process. The postal system has never been so broken - but I will do what needs to be done to get these records shipped to you in a timely fashion.
All orders in Canada and USA receive a tracking number for their package. All orders overseas are eligible for tracking but Canada Post charges extra to track overseas packages. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.

*I will combine shipping if interested in multiple records. Just message me and we can arrange something - but at the end of the day I will ultimately reduce and refund any additional shipping fees you pay. Since our store has no cart and each link is independent this is the best way to do this - but just know that we will reduce your overall shipping when you combine records.
